China Robot Industry Development Conference held in Suzhou

The 2024 China Robot Industry Development Conference was held in Wuzhong District, Suzhou City on Nov. 19. Su Bo, deputy director of the National Manufacturing Strategy Advisory Committee (NMSAC), and Wu Qingwen, deputy secretary of the CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and mayor of Suzhou, attended the event.

Su Bo said in his speech that Suzhou, as a world-renowned industrial city, attaches great importance to the digital transformation and upgrading of industries and the continuous improvement of the industrial ecosystem. The city is striving to build itself into a national intelligent manufacturing demonstration zone and a highland for the development of the robot industry.

The China Robot Industry Development Conference is a national conference sponsored by the China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF). This year’s event consisted of a main forum, sub-forums, symposiums, exhibitions, etc. At the conference, the statistics for the development of the global robot industry and China’s industrial robot market in 2023 were released, a robot industrial demonstration base jointly built by the CMIF Robot Branch Association and the Wuzhong District Government unveiled, the Jiangsu Humanoid Robot Manufacturing Innovation Center inaugurated, and a slew of projects signed.
